LOCATION:
Knoxville, TN

SIZE:

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Named in honor of beloved former Webb coach, teacher, and Dean of Students, the Clark Wormsley Hitting & Pitching Complex was designed alongside a new softball complex with a strong emphasis on school tradition and standards. The Webb branded “W” is prominent and is echoed in diagonal elements throughout the interior and exterior design.

The project features a 9,000-square-foot netted, indoor practice area with two full-length bullpen tunnels and two hitting tunnels, all equipped with portable pitching mounds and machines in a high-bay space. Green and white diagonal painted elements cover the interior, echoing the branded “W.” Large vinyl wall graphics are incorporated to evoke camaraderie and team spirit.

The building includes dressing rooms for baseball, softball, and soccer, men’s and women’s restrooms, and equipment storage areas. The complex is adjacent to both the existing Spartan baseball field and the new softball field, with new dugouts, storage, and a scoring booth.
