Richard A. Foster was recently awarded a 2020 AIA TN Presidential Award of Excellence in recognition of his continued contributions to enhance and improve the profession of Architecture and AIA Tennessee. As the 2021 incoming President for AIA TN, Richard has held leadership positions both regionally and state-wide. He has advocated for positive changes in our field, and led many outreach initiatives for the organization, including Knoxville by Design – a month long celebration of architecture in April. In 2018, he was recognized as a regional champion for AIA National’s Blueprint for Better program.

Kathryn Greer has been selected as part of the Knox.biz 40 Under 40 class of 2020, presented by Lincoln Memorial University. This is the 14th class that Knox.biz, formerly the Greater Knoxville Business Journal, has honored. Kathryn has always been a firm believer in the importance of art and its integration into our built environments through thoughtful design practices. She has brought this approach to her role at MHM and her various community organizations in which she is involved.

We are proud of our very own, Nathan Honeycutt who was honored as part of Knoxville’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2017 earlier this month. The Greater Knoxville Business Journal identifies 40 young leaders who are making a difference in our community each year. Through his leadership and involvement at MHM, the East Tennessee Community Design Center, and the AIA East Tennessee, it comes as no surprise to us that he be recognized in this way. Congrats Nathan!
