PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The developer for two amusement rides in Gatlinburg hired MHM Architects and Interior Designers to design a facility that serves as a single entry point to both rides while acting as a beacon to attract customers.

Located on the most heavily trafficked and developed street in town, the project's design seeks to distinguish itself from its surroundings and grab the attention of passers-by with a dramatic form that accentuates the drama and excitement of the rides. The exterior is punctuated with a simple, natural material palette of stone and wood to connect the project to its mountain surroundings.

MHM collaborated with Graphic Designer Tommy Stokes to incorporate branding and graphics for the rides into the design to provide a cohesive, consistent feel for the entire building.

MHM and construction manager Merit Construction worked together to develop a design and construction schedule allowing the facility to be completed on time for peak tourist season.
